MiPSE Guide

MiPSE Guide for Parents

We're excited to share your online access to MiPSE (Michigan PowerSchool Special Education), so you can view your child's finalized education documents. MiPSE is the county-wide special programs software used to create and review IEPs, behavior plans, health plans, Section 504s and more.

Login to MiPSE here.

Login Directions

Login information, including ID and temporary password will be provided by your district. All user IDs will start with a "P:" and then be the student's UIC. The School/District ID is: KENTISD. Once you use the temporary password, MiPSE will prompt you to create a new password. You will then have access to any finalized documents.

If, at any time, you forget your password, you can reset it on your own. Once the password has been entered incorrectly four times, MiPSE will prompt you to reset your password. A temporary password will be emailed to you and then you will be prompted to create a new password.

Parent View

You will only be able to see finalized documents. Finalized documents from previous school years can be viewed in the "Personal Options/Content" section by clicking on "Access Self-Service Documents."
