MiPSE is a customized PowerSchool Special Programs product operated by Kent ISD that supports 11 partner ISDs and charter management companies, collectively serving over 20% of Michigan’s student population. This comprehensive software management system streamlines the entire special education process, from pre-referral through service delivery and reporting, while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

MiPSE provides districts with secure, electronic records such as IEPs and 504 Plans, efficient case management tools, and robust reporting features. In addition to special education documentation, MiPSE also supports forms for all students, including Personal Curriculum, Behavior Threat Assessment and Management Plans (BTAM), and Individualized Reading Intervention Plans.
