Pine Rest Christian Mental Health
As a Psychiatric Technician Level 1 at Pine Rest, you’ll be part of tight-knit team that believes in the healing power of your expertise and compassion. Under general supervision and according to departmental policies and procedures and within the individual plan of care performs the role of physical and emotional care given to clients with mental illness and/or developmental delays. Is responsible to actively participate in safety management, milieu management & crisis intervention.
High School diploma or GED preferred. Experience working in residential or healthcare environment preferred. One year of related experience preferred not required.

Wedgwood Christian Services - Grand Rapids, MI
Working in our Employment Training Program, you will be serving youth who live in one of Wedgwood's 10 residential homes, as well as youth in the community. You'll mentor youth ages 15-18, while helping them develop various hands-on and vocational skills in preparation for joining the workforce. Some of these skills include, but are not limited to: resume building/interview skills, customer service, lawn care/landscaping, wood working, car detailing, small engine repair, janitorial skills, sewing, etc.
High school Diploma REQUIRED. Must be at least 20 years of age. Prior experience working with adolescents and or prior supervisory or teaching experience is preferred. Must have a valid driver's license. Lawn care experience preferred, and woodshop/carpentry experience is preferred. The ability to lift at least 50 lbs. of stationary weight is required. The ability to bend, twist, stoop and bear weight of materials is required. Many of our patients have very complicated health problems that may not be limited to the eye. These patients come to us for specialized care and vision saving treatment. As an ophthalmic technician you will play an important role in the well-being of our patients, providing them with high quality care, being a calming and knowledgeable health professional, and helping them through their eye health journey.
High school diploma or GED REQUIRED. Job duties include but are not limited to obtaining patient medical history, checking vision and eye pressure, using various equipment for ophthalmic imaging, and assisting our physicians. Must be willing to travel to our satellite locations as well - 25% (Required). Ophthalmology/Medical experience preferred but not required.

Moiron, a division of Leggett & Platt, Incorporated, located in northwest Grand Rapids, MI is seeking Hand Welders. What you’ll be doing: • OWelds metal parts primarily with TIG/MIG welding equipment as specified by layout, welding diagram, or work order. Production welding requires repetitive welding of the same part. We do innovative things with metal tube and wire using cool machines like lasers, benders, robotic welders, drill presses, punch presses, sanding, and welding!
