The Kent ISD Student Job Board is a FREE service to connect you with local employers in West Michigan. Students and recent graduates from all 20 Kent County school districts and KCTC are invited to check out these listings. The jobs on this site are intended to be entry-level positions.

We build the I-Stair stair system. This is a fully assembled stair that we deliver to framers building new homes. Our stair system is patented and unlike anything else around. We manufacture high quality stairs that eliminate the hassle and code issues of traditional stick-built stairs. We are a small company in West Michigan that is growing fast. Residential Advisor Position The Residential Advisor position provides support for a U.S Department of Labor Job Corps contractor. The Job Corps program is a federally-funded residential training program. The mission of Job Corps is to provide career-ready technical and basic skills (academic) training and job placement assistance to program eligible youth ages 16-24. Description of Duties: Assists students in adjusting to Center life by providing supervision, behavior modification and acting as a mentor. Ensures that students meet required schedule, waking on time and being on time for school or work assignment.

The Security Guard provides support for a U.S Department of Labor Job Corps contractor, Human Learning Systems. The Job Corps program is a federally funded residential training program. Job Corps’ mission is to educate and train youth ages 16-24 for successful careers in the nation’s fastest-growing industries. Summary of Duties: The Security Guard is responsible for the day to day functions of center safety compliance with Job Corps program requirements, corporate guidelines and federal, state, and local regulations; to create and preserve an environment where Center’s staff, students, visitors are safe and well-protected.
