Kent ISD, Steelcase, BAMF Health, Blox and Ferris State University partner for six-week summer internship program

During Educator Appreciation Week, Kent ISD is celebrating more than 50 newly certified teachers who completed the West Michigan Teacher Collaborative (WMTC) program. 

Forest Hills Central 12^th grade student Henry “ExelionSC” Wierenga won the Kent County Cup esports tournament on Saturday, March 21. 

Sanskriti Parihar was the last speller standing in the final round to clinch the win at the 49^th annual Greater Grand Rapids Spelling Bee presented by Kent ISD. 

Kent ISD Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is enrolling now for fall for high-quality, tuition-free PreK for all families of children who turn 4 by December 1.

Kent ISD is expanding Career and Technical Education (CTE) opportunities with plans to build a second CTE center to serve more students.
