Art Camps at Grand Rapids Art Museum GRAM Summer Art Camp provides children and teens ages 8 through 15 with the opportunity to experience creativity and innovation in a unique and transformative museum setting. Campers take part in observation and discussion in the museum’s galleries and explore hands-on art making activities in GRAM Studio. Camp Curious - Grand Rapids Public Museum This summer, kids pre-K through high school can explore the wonders of science, history, culture and more at the GRPM through a variety of camp offerings. Civic Camp - Boys June 21-27, 2026, held on the campus of Hillsdale College. Current juniors who are interested in civics and government and have considered seeking careers in public service are encouraged to look into the opportunity of Girls State and Boys State, offered by the American Legion. GVSU STEPS 2026 Science Technology & Engineering Preview Summer (STEPS) Camp is a day-camp preview of science, engineering and technology for rising 7th and 8th grade students. Camps - Calvin University This camp provides opportunities for girls and boys to learn about health and jobs in the medical field, including nursing, nutrition, CPR, physical therapy, reproductive health, and more. Interior Design Summer Workshop Ball State's Interior Design program is offering a summer workshop to give high schoolers a hands-on interior design experience. The workshop explores fundamentals of 2D and 3D concepts, basic drawing and illustration skills, use of color and light effects, and how interior environments affect human behavior. John Ball Zoo Summer Day Camp Camps are open to students age 3 - 9th grade at various times throughout the summer. Each class follows a particular theme and instructors plan various activities and tours to bring the class to life. Joy of Coding Courses created for high schoolers. No prior coding experience required. All courses are online and self paced. Students use Python to learn how coding powers Snapchat, TikTok, Instagram, and Siri…and even learn how to code their own Snapchat lenses! MASC/MAHS Summer Leadership Camp The Michigan Association of Student Councils and Honor Societies (MASC/MAHS) Summer Leadership Camp provides an opportunity for students to experience lessons in leadership, communications, group activities, and goal setting. Through this competitive process, students in grades nine through 12 receive scholarships to attend camp. Every year, SET SEG receives hundreds of applications from throughout Michigan and awards up to $30,000 in full scholarships to high school students. At Albion College the week of July 19-24, 2026. Michigan Health Sciences Pre-College Exposure Academy (SPEA) The Michigan Health Sciences Pre-College Exposure Academy is a free, hybrid program. SPEA is intended for highly motivated high school students in the 10th or 11th grade. Students gain exposure to University of Michigan healthcare professionals. The SPEA curriculum is aligned with the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Core Competencies, which are fundamental to preparing students to be healthcare professionals. Michigan State University Multicultural Apprenticeship Program (MAP) The Multicultural Apprenticeship Program (MAP) is a four-week summer experience program at MSU. MAP is designed to give high school students the opportunity to experience college life and to explore the many exciting educational and career opportunities in the agricultural and food sciences, natural resources and related fields. Through MAP, students work in many different areas including: food science, agricultural engineering, forestry, animal sciences, horticulture and crop and soil sciences, environmental and natural resource management, and veterinary medicine. Michigan Tech Summer Youth Programs Summer Youth Programs (SYP) at Michigan Tech provide students with a chance to experience college life in a fun, engaging, and safe setting. Students choose one or more explorations to participate in during the summer. Subjects include electrical engineering, computer science, traditional and digital art, coding, robotics, nature photography, wildlife ecology, and more. St. Cecilia Music Center - Middle School Band Camp This camp is for Band students who have at least one year of playing experience. Daily activities taught by exceptional, talented faculty include; band rehearsals, sectionals, musical games and professional performances. By the end of the week students will have formed new friendships, improved their instrumental technique and performed exciting music in a historic setting. St. Cecilia Music Center - Stella Royce Piano Camp The Stella Royce Piano Camp is an engaging, intensive week-long camp for young pianists. Daily activities, taught or supervised by exceptional, talented faculty, include: private lessons, ensemble lessons, theory lessons, musical games, music history classes, practice time, and more. Days will include a variety of activities, including presentations from Vice, the Special Response Team, K9 handlers, Bomb Squad, and more.
