Early Childhood
Early childhood is a crucial time in children's lives - when they engage in the world around them and learn all the basics they'll use in school and beyond. Our Great Start Readiness Preschool programs help children prepare for school success.

How Thornapple Kellogg has used funds generated from the enhancement millage:
- Technology upgrades, including 1-1 technology for all K-12 students and upgraded wireless infrastructure to enhance connectivity in the classrooms
- Additional teaching positions to maintain an optimal class size
- Additional para educators to support student learning
- Facility upgrades to enhance learning spaces for students
- Safety and security upgrades throughout the district

About Our District

An Early Childhood center, three elementaries, one middle school and one high school provide approximately 3,000 students a safe and welcoming environment in which to grow and learn. Our staff is dedicated to setting the highest standards and helping all students realize their individual potential. Thornapple Kellogg School District is well known for educational excellence, with strong parent and community support.
