My role is to help assist you, the participant, in ensuring your experience with us is pleasant one. Our goal is to have everyone feel completely satisfied with their experience. Our department helps coordinate all workshop offerings, from the initial inception, coordination of services, and enrollment procedures including providing refunds, receipts, transcripts, enrollment assistance, and any other accommodations you may need. In addition, you may contact me with Spelling Bee and SCECH questions. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have and I will be happy to assist you.

The PD Hub provides professional learning opportunities  for all educators that is aligned to the school improvement framework. Once a month, we send out an electronic newsletter called The Bulletin , keeping educators informed about the hottest topics in education and upcoming PD opportunities.  We offer pdNOW , so that you can access learning from your computer at anytime/anywhere and Learning To Go  so that you can bring many of our most popular workshops directly to your school. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you or your district.

I plan and produce professional learning programs, frequently working in collaboration with other Kent ISD and contracted consultants, as well as work with groups using Kent ISD facilities to provide professional learning/training, ex. Kent Reading Council and Odyssey of the Mind. I also work with special professional learning projects, such as  Groundswell (Environmental Science/Place-based Learning). Please contact me with questions about the content of workshops, SCECHs or graduate credit, presenter information, your professional learning needs, presenter availability to your building/district, planned future offerings, and your suggestions for future professional learning at Kent ISD.

In addition to Professional Learning, contact me with your questions about Spelling Bee, Kent Academically Talented Youth Program (ATYP), Gifted & Talented, New Teacher requirements, and We the People (Center for Civic Education).
