ADULT EDUCATION

Registration for the 2025-26 School Year

We assist adults in creating brighter futures by helping them obtain their GEDs, develop English language skills (ESL), and pursue Career and Technical Education (CTE). Our adult education programs also cover career readiness, professional advancement, specialized skills training, citizenship, and family literacy. Programs are FREE and you'll just need a photo ID to register.

The first day of school for the 2025-26 school year will be Monday, August 25, but we take enrollments throughout the year. We are currently accepting applications to our GED program and taking reservations to a waitlist for our English (ESL) classes.  Complete this form to register or be added to our list.

If you have any questions, contact us at our Wyoming location at 616.530.7500 or GRCC location 616.447.4941. Staff at either location can answer questions regarding the Kentwood location as well.

To schedule a GED test or to request a GED transcript, visit GED.com.

We're proud to offer our specialty services at four other locations as well: Kent Career Tech Center, the Kent County Jail, NextStep of West Michigan and Perrigo.
