Have you heard of CTE? It stands for Career and Technical Education, and it's becoming a popular way for students to learn real, hands-on skills for exciting careers — especially here in Michigan!
In fact, more than 110,000 11th and 12th graders across Michigan took CTE classes during the 2023-24 school year. Now, Kent ISD offers CTE programs at several locations around our area, so students like you have even more chances to explore careers that interest you.
We are also teaming up with workplaces to give you real-world experience — not just classroom learning. We make sure everything meets state standards, while our partners bring their real job expertise straight to you. And, in many of our programs, we can also offer credits through our partnerships with local colleges and universities.
