In the Electrical program located at West Michigan Construction Institute, you’ll learn to read, build and troubleshoot the electrical systems that power everything from cities to buildings to devices.
While in the shop, you’ll:
- Explore residential, commercial and industrial electrical systems
- Install junction boxes, panels, conduit, wire, receptacles, lights, hangers and other fixtures used in the electrical industry
- Practice wiring lights, switches and outlets
- Understand and learn to follow electrical code
- Learn how to pre-fabricate electrical components
