If you're excited by building structures, reading blueprints, working with wood, and choosing the right materials for the job, you'll fit right in here. You'll learn residential framing and how to complete both the outside and inside of a house. You'll also get hands-on with tools, learn building codes, and explore Green Construction — building homes that are better for the environment.

This is a two-year program covering every part of home building, start to finish. In your first year, you can even earn your 10-hour MiOSHA safety certification — which means you could start working in the field before you even graduate!
