While in our greenhouse, on our grounds, and a variety of community locations, you’ll -
- Dig into natural resource preservation, urban gardening, landscaping and more
- Learn to identify and propagate plants
- Coordinate farm-to-table practices while working with our Hospitality & Culinary program
- Grow and and care for chickens, rabbits, fish, goats, and other animals
- Explore zoology as you go behind the scenes at John Ball Zoo
- Participate in projects at Frederik Meijer Gardens
- Learn pest management
- Operate a plant sale open to the public
- Participate in Future Farmers of America (FFA)
- Discover opportunities to earn free college credit
