Toni Verburg, Math Support Specialist
Hello! I am Toni Verburg, Math Support Specialist at Kent Transition Center. I assist the program instructors with math lessons and meet with students who need individual support in math. My background is in Finance, with a Bachelor’s Degree from Michigan State University. I worked as a Financial Advisor before staying home to raise my kids and then did substitute teaching which made me realize that I love to teach! I hope to show students the value of learning math for their everyday lives.
My husband owns his own residential framing company which keeps him very busy. We have three children. We all enjoy being outdoors in our free time. We love to go camping, fishing, swimming, boating and golfing in the summer time. My kids play several sports so you can always find us at a cross country meet, a basketball game, a soccer game or a baseball game. I am excited to be in my first year at KTC!
