ELPA Information
The English Language Proficiency Assessment (ELPA) is Michigan's test for English language proficiency. The ELPA is given annually in the Spring and is also available as an Initial Screener for student placement.

MME Information
ELL students can receive State-approved accommodations on the Michigan Merit Exam. However, State-approved accommodations may result in a non-reportable ACT score. Please check with MDE's Office of Assessment and Accountability for questions about reportable and non-reportable scores.
