While most student programs are offered through our local districts, Kent ISD offers a few unique programs to students directly. These include the Aeronautics Lab for middle schoolers, the Close Up government program for high school students and the Kent Academically Talented Youth Program (ATYP) for math or language arts. This program begins in middle school for students who need highly accelerated learning.

Our Kent Career Tech Center and Kent Transition Center help nearly 3000 students explore careers and prepare for the world of work.
