The Kent ISD Environmental Scanning Team identifies, analyzes and summarizes the new trends impacting education. Trend data is used to help anticipate future priorities and improve program planning.
The Environmental Scanning Team searches for trends or changes impacting education in the following areas:
- Socio-demographics
- Competition
- Economic Conditions
- Environmental Issues
- Political Regulatory
- Technology
- School and Industry Changes
- Customer Changes
Use of Trend Data
Educational Trend Data is used to help:
- Assess the current and future needs of internal and external customers
- Improve or modify existing programs
- Plan new programs
