How Kent ISD Is Organized

Kent ISD serves the community with a passion for education, for teachers and for students. We have two overarching goals: Student Achievement and Customer Satisfaction. To help us accomplish those, we are organized into five Core Processes:

  • Teaching & Learning
  • Organizational Development & Planning
  • Administrative Services
  • Human Resources & Legal Services
  • Organizational & Community Initiatives

Each of these core process areas has specific goals, a variety of quality planning tools and is collecting data on their performance. We use these tools so we can be accountable to our customers in all the communities of Kent ISD.

To contact the staff at Kent ISD, contact the administrator for that area, call our main number (616.364.1333) or look up individual areas or names in our directory (See the Find/Contact link at the top of this website)
