School Administration is the business of making our schools work so that students can achieve. This broad area encompasses planning and analysis, regulations and accounting, as well as school improvement, special education compliance, human resources and all of the behind-the-scenes work that supports Teaching & Learning.

Truancy

We provide regional truancy services, helping connect families to the resources they need so they can keep their children in school.

Superintendents’ Initiatives

The Kent Intermediate Superintendents’ Association asked us to focus on these areas: Literacy, Diversity, Early Childhood and Special Education. These initiatives form the basis for much of our work.

Data Warehouse

This powerful technology tool helps collect and report all kinds of school information, including instructional, financial and special education data, which our districts use to meet local needs. Administrators use this tool to look at achievement trends and in financial decision-making because it offers the ability to query large amounts of data and run individualized reports.

School Code, Regulations & Transportation

School Improvement

We help schools understand and then use test results and other progress measures to improve student achievement, by providing data analysis, workshops, consulting and other technical assistance.

Special Education

We provide financial, legal, instructional, and technical support and training to assist schools in meeting the changing needs of exceptional children and students from birth to age 26.
