Transition
All students leave school to create their adult lives. “Transition” describes that critical transformation and includes the education, legal information, planning, and community connections our special education students need to achieve adult goals.
What is Transition Planing?
Transition Planning is a procedure for a student to choose and put in place a series of programs and services leading from school to adult life and employment. Planning for transition generally happens in four areas. Planning is divided into these four areas in order to make it simpler. But don't be fooled. Each of these areas are completely interconnected and interdependent upon one another.
