KCTC Students Rank Among Best in Nation
This past June six KCTC Students placed in the top 11 at the National Skills USA competition in Kansas City, Missouri. The students each competed against hundreds of other students from across the nation in various skill areas including culinary arts, 3-D Animation and more. These students, as well as others who competed at the local and state level demonstrating their technical and career skills, made 2008-2009 the most winning year in KCTC history.
This year’s National winners are:
- Tony Baumeister, North Pointe Christian High School – 8th Place, Auto Tech Services
- Ben Charles, Homeschooled – 11th Place, 3-D Animation
- Joseph Cole, Tri-County High School – 10th Place, Job Skills Demonstration
- David Musk, Homeschooled – 11th Place, 3-D Animation
- Taylor Pagano, Caledonia High School – 9th Place, Culinary Arts
- Joanna Stewart, Sparta High School – 6th Place, Advertising Art
