This past June six KCTC Students placed in the top 11 at the National Skills USA competition in Kansas City, Missouri. The students each competed against hundreds of other students from across the nation in various skill areas including culinary arts, 3-D Animation and more.  These students, as well as others who competed at the local and state level demonstrating their technical and career skills, made 2008-2009 the most winning year in KCTC history.

This year’s National winners are:

• Ben Charles, Homeschooled – 11^th Place, 3-D Animation
• Joseph Cole, Tri-County High School – 10^th Place, Job Skills Demonstration
• David Musk, Homeschooled – 11^th Place, 3-D Animation
• Taylor Pagano, Caledonia High School – 9^th Place, Culinary Arts
• Joanna Stewart, Sparta High School – 6^th Place, Advertising Art
