Local news station, WZZM 13, recently focused on Kent Career Tech Center in it's Retooling Michigan series of stories.

"Michigan's education system is changing to keep up with the demand for new job skills and educators say students are going to have to do the same.

It used to be that you went to school, got your diploma, got a job, lived your life, but that's not necessarily the case anymore. More and more fields are requiring education past high school. Students are finding they need to keep moving in the race for an education."
