KSSN a Connecting With Community Finalist
Our community school coalition has been named a finalist in a WOOD TV8 program called ”Connecting With Community Awards.” The program seeks to identify and reward organizations that are helping their communities in significant ways. Carol Paine McGovern, part of KSSN’s Leadership Team, submitted the Network for this recognition. More information is on the WOOD TV8 website.

“WOOD TV8 and our Community Partners are pleased to honor all of the collaborations nominated for their efforts to bring people together to solve problems and make our community stronger. All those nominated will be honored at the Connecting With Community Awards Celebration on January 22, 2009 at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum in Grand Rapids. At that time, the first Connecting With Community Award winner will be chosen from the finalists. Congratulations to all for your outstanding efforts to make West Michigan a better place to live for all of us.”
