Kent ISD's own Ron Koehler, Assistant Superintendent of Organizational and Community Initiatives, sat down with Inside Michigan Education for a podcast discussion on the importance of school communication in tough economic times. 

Ron discusses the importance of two-way communication between schools and their communities and also between schools and their students. He identifies some of the challenges education faces and communication steps that can be taken to help address some of those issues, including reaching out directly to students.
