Career planning is now in the hands of our local students. Recently thousands of students in Kent ISD received a brand new career planning tool delivered directly to their desks. The CAREERS planners were distributed to local classrooms January 28, through the Newspapers in Education program from the Grand Rapids Press. 

The CAREERS planner uses mulitple tools to help students think about their future and which career pathway is right for them. The planner allows teachers to help students begin the planning process and also allows students to continue refining their plan each year.

The insert is part of a collaborative project with Kent ISD, the Grand Rapids Press, Grand Rapids Community College and Ferris-Grand Rapids. Get your copy of the CAREERS planner and visit the Kent ISD Career Focused Education website for more career planning resources.
